On November 8th, 2017 Quadra RCMP received a report of a stolen boat motor from the docks in Squirrel Cove. The motor is a Johnson 9.9HP outboard motor. If you have any information on this theft please contact Quadra RCMP at 250-285-3631 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.

On November 3rd, 2017 Quadra RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding on West road. It was discovered that the driver had been consuming alcohol and an approved screening device demand was read to the driver. The driver attempted to provide samples of his breath into an approved screening device and eventually refused to provide a proper sample. The driver was issued a 90 Day Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) from driving and the vehicle they were driving was impounded for 30 days. Police also discovered that the driver was currently bound by a court ordered probation order with one of the conditions being not to consume alcohol. The driver was subsequently arrested and later released after a bail hearing the following morning. The driver is facing two breach of probation charges.
On November 12th, 2017 Quadra RCMP received a report of a theft of red van that took place from Vaughn Road in the early morning hours. The vehicle was located abandoned by the fire hall on Schooner road. If you have any information regarding this theft contact the Quadra RCMP or Crimestoppers.
On November 18th, 2017 Quadra RCMP, Fire, and EHS were called to a single vehicle accident on West road by Hyacinthe bay road. A single occupant was located inside the vehicle and was taken to the hospital by EHS for minor injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the accident.
