This island is famous for its silent auctions!

Do you have a book/art/skill/time to offer?

If so, please consider donating something to the silent auction for next Friday's (29th) feast and storytelling fundraiser at Manson's Hall. Please send an email with your item, its value and minimum bid to bridgetholtomhotmail.co.uk.

This is a also a request for help in organising and collecting items from someone who loves to do them!

All funds will be split between the Unist’ot’en Camp, and Lax U’u’la Camp (Lelu Island).

Call for more storytellers - Friday 29th - Feast of Stories**
Do you have a story about sustenance or nourishment? Fictional, personal, make-believe...

Dive headlong into your imagination to meet the mysterious creatures of the ocean-deep or spiral upwards to encounter mythical beings from the air. Perhaps we will witness fire-breathing dragons that never burn-out or snakes that transform from the inside-out. What lessons can we learn from the caterpillars whose imaginal cells decompose into butterflies or the phoenix whose flight takes her far beyond the skies when she realises she is no longer afraid to die. There will be selkie-seals, squirrels and douglas fir fairies, for sure. Maybe there will be more than we bargained for…

Get in touch if you think you have something to share! Otherwise, see you there :)

Thanks from Bridget and the rest of the Feast of Stories volunteer crew (we also need more people to help out so get in touch if you want to).
