Join us on our monthly nature study forest walk on Sunday, August 6, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. Forest shade, refreshing lagoon swimming.
Bring a lunch & water, swim gear, curiosity and a youthful heart! We will leave from the Coulter Bay trailhead at 10:00 am. Families (children 8 years & under need to be accompanied by an adult) and adults welcome. Please leave dogs behind.
Children's Forest Art Show
This is the last weekend to see the bold & beautiful art, created by Cortes youth, inspired by their love of the Children's Forest, at The Old Schoolhouse. There will be a short presentation by the youth at 6:30 pm, Friday, August 4, with music, haiku reading, forest riddles, and a talk. The art show also features several professional art pieces by Vancouver Island artists and continues through the weekend, August 5 & 6, 2-6:00 pm.
