Opening night at the Old Schoolhouse Gallery was energetic and entertaining Friday July 28th 2017
Young artists and musicians joined together with their parents and senior artists to present a collage of forest paintings, photographs and sculptures to celebrate their dedication to preserving and eventually buying a large piece of forest land. Three young musicians performed, giving the opening a party like atmosphere.
All proceeds from sales of this exhibition go to support the Cortes Island Children’s Forest Trust and The Old School House Gallery on Cortes Island, BC.
The show continues, July 29, 30, Saturday and Sunday 2 to 6 PM and August 4, 5, and 6. (August 4th will be open 6 to 9 PM)
