A beautiful evening happened here on Cortes Island on Canada day.
100+ members of our community came together to support one member of our community in his health journey. The well wishes were palpable. Healing was in the air and available to all. When that many people focus their energies and intentions the only sensible thing to do is go along for the ride.
"Thank you" is not a full enough expression to convey my gratitude to our community for your response to my notice that David needed help. The auction donations flooded in.
The ticket sales were close to a sell out.
Too many people to thank individually so I'll just say THANK YOU to all of us. I am proud to be a Cortes Islander. Btw this was the easiest event I have ever organized. Many hands.
