The updated website includes a mobile-friendly design, a user ratings feature, increased privacy for user's and much more. A huge thankyou to Ester Strijbos and Shane Nelson for their generous efforts to enable us to still view rides linked with (Right column, under the events) To access the site make sure your website browser is updated as Firefox seems to work the best. The new Cortes Rideshare site linked from will also have regional node sites for different cities, currently most in the Kootenay area, we hope to see Quadra, Campbell river included soon. Rides and requests posted in one node are available to people in all other nodes. This allows for regional branding and increases the visibility of each ride available.

The Island Carshare Co-op will continue to sponsor and promote the Rideshare website as a way to reduce carbon pollution and build community within our Regional District.
