Societies & Organizations
Guided by the values of generosity, collaboration, and innovation, the Foundation works alongside local nonprofits, charities, and grassroots groups to help turn great ideas into lasting impact. Through grants, partnerships, research, and community investment, they support projects that enhance life on Cortes Island today while helping build a resilient future for generations to come.
Beyond funding, the Foundation plays an active role in understanding the evolving needs of the island and bringing people together to create meaningful solutions. Their work includes supporting the Social Profit Network, the Cortes Island Academy, the Village Commons, and many other initiatives that contribute to the social, environmental, cultural, and economic well-being of our community.
Whether investing in education, environmental stewardship, community collaboration, or local leadership, the Cortes Island Community Foundation believes that even a small island can make a big impact.
We are grateful to have the Cortes Island Community Foundation as a Tideline sponsor. Their ongoing commitment to strengthening our community helps ensure that Cortes remains a vibrant, connected, and resilient place to call home.
