HACI - Jenny
With summer approaching, the docks on our island are beginning to fill up. The Harbour Authority would like to remind all dock users to please be respectful and use common sense when moving boats at the dock. If possible, contact boat owners before moving their vessels. Please do not move larger vessels single-handedly, and respect 15 minute loading zones and sea-plane areas. Please do not hesitate to call the Harbour Authority at 250-935-0007 if you need assistance.

Maybe there should be posted signs of procedure for rafting or moving someone's boat, and a reminder to other boaters that there responsible for the boats after the move.....
Just a thought

Just remember, if you move somebody's boat and re tie it, you are responsible for any liability, should something happen to the boat!! (during the move and afterwards) From a former Harbour Manager.
