Mark your calendars... April 28, 29 & 30, 2017 for the Children's Forest BioBlitz!

Are YOU ready to BioBlitz?
Spring energies are rising and Cortes youth are already buzzing with ideas for this year's BioBlitz in the Children's Forest
BioBlitz is an intensive 24 hour inventory of fauna & flora - a measure of biodiversity of place.

We're talking with entomologists (lovers & researchers of insects) and oooooooohhh... it is even rumoured that we might have moth aficionados interested in coming!
We'll keep you posted.

To bring these incredible resource people to Cortes to join us for the BioBlitz, we need to fundraise their transportation & honourarium costs.

Sooooooooooo... March 11 is the BioBlitz Benefit at Gorge Hall in support of this citizen science event. Please see notice of Bioblitz Benefit, as posted on Tidelines, February 25. EVERYONE WELCOME!!!

The 2017 BioBlitz and BioBlitz Benefit are sponsored by the Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society; check us out at
