This year there will be approximately $25,000 available to support local non-profit work through the Strathcona Regional District’s Grant-In-Aid fund for Cortes. Projects generally need to have broad community benefit and I especially welcome new initiatives, those that need seed funding to get off the ground.
This year, given my pending break, my alternate director Mary Lavelle will be receiving and reviewing applications and then we will jointly be making recommendations to the Regional District board for funding in March. Find attached the application form and send it directly to Mary at alt.director.lavellegmail.com or call her at 250-935-0235.
