Cortes Island’s Young Writers’ Zine & Prize challenge young writers (ages 10-16) on Cortes Island to explore their own purpose for writing.
Young Writers’ zine
zine’s are small, self-published, and easily reproducible magazine like booklets. They can include poems, drawings, thoughts, quotes, jokes, comics, sketches and collage. The working theme for this zine is “Our Cortes”. Contributors get a free copy. We will be publishing the zine in black and white in a quarter sheet booklet format (4.25”x5.5”). Try to keep your work concise.
