Come join in the Cortes Day Parade July 16th. It's a great way to advertise for your business, it's a great way to draw attention to your club or organization, and it's a great way to let your freak flag fly high. Not to mention it's great for community spirit. You can put together a float or dress yourself up and hula-hoop your way along while stilt walking, juggling plates, and manning a dummy (Meinsje?). And for the wee ones or ones wee at heart, decorate your bicycle/tricycle/unicycle/tractor/mower. The cyclers meet along Smelt Bay Road just before Bobo and Judith's (you'll see a sign posted and there will be an adult supervising). All other participants meet on Potlatch Road at 10:30. This year's theme, if you want it, is Retro. C'mon Cortes be a part of the RetroGrade Parade and let's make it the best year yet!
