The Cortes Island Community Forest is managed by the Cortes Forestry General Partnership, a partnership of the Klahoose First Nation and the Cortes Community Forest Cooperative.
The Partnership exists to manage a successful community forest business known for the quality of its timber and its ecosystem-based forest stewardship, and is committed to building a resilient and vibrant world-class community-based forestry operation on Cortes Island.
