Hydro will be laying cables from September 18 to September 21

Note: This Service Notice applies to the following route(s):
• Campbell River - Quadra Island (Quathiaski Cove)
• Quadra Island (Quathiaski Cove) - Campbell River

Sailing Cancellations
September 18 to September 21, 2015

Please be advised that BC Hydro will be laying cables from September 18 to September 21, 2015 between Campbell River and Quadra Island as part of the upgrade to the Quadra Island hydro system. As a result of the work being completed by BC Hydro, BC Ferries is required to cancel four round trips to allow for the safe installation of the cable.

The following sailings will be cancelled:

Leave Campbell River (Vancouver Island)

Friday, September 18
4:30 pm

Saturday September 19
5:25 pm

Sunday September 20
7:30 pm

Monday September 21
7:30 pm


Leave Quadra Island (Quathiaski Cove)
Friday, September 18
4:00 pm

Saturday September 19
5:00 pm

Sunday September 20
7:00 pm

Monday September 21
8:00 pm

The Bridge Management teams will monitor the traffic in Campbell River, Quathiaski Cove and Heriot Bay and will add sailings to accommodate the traffic, if they are able.
