Tuesday September 8th will be a half day (8:50 - 11:30) at the Cortes Island School. The bus schedule from last year will be in effect for the time being. In the morning, please have your children at the bus stop 5 minutes before pick-up time. The bus will leave the school at 11:50. Remember to send a note or call if your child has different arrangements to go home! See you Tuesday September 8th.

The school office will be open on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 8:30 until 2:00 for new students to register. See you on September 8th.


Cortes Island School welcomes back all families for a new school year. We hope you had a fabulous summer and look forward to seeing everyone soon. All students should arrive at school by 8:50 a.m. and will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. Regular hours (8:50 - 2:45) will begin for grades 1 to 9 on Wednesday September 9th. Kindergarten students will come mornings only for the first week and then full days Monday, Wednesday, and Friday the following week.
