Literacy Now Melissa
Literacy Now is proud to present an evening on March 10 with award-winning author and internationally renowned performer, Ivan Coyote.

Ivan Coyote was born in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and is an author of eight collections of short stories, three CD's and four short films. Ivan's first novel, Bow Grip, won the 2007 ReLit Award for best fiction.

Ivan often intersects storytelling and music, and has worked with Canadian musicians such as Veda Hille, Dan Mangan, and Rae Spoon, to name a few. Ivan's tours cover a lot of ground from North America to Europe, telling stories to Festival audiences, High School students, social justice activists, and senior citizens. Most recently Ivan performed Tomboy Survival Guide with fellow collaborators Alison Gorman, Pebbles Willekes and Sally Zori, at the PuSh Festival in Vancouver.
