Wondering what you can do for the lakes?

Well, the BC Lake Stewardship Society is offering a fantastic course that will provide training in how we can take better care of our freshwater ecosystems. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is interested in helping with ongoing water sampling and on-the-ground field work. Water quality monitoring, lake ecology, watershed assessment, and planning, are some of the topics to be covered in this exciting 2-day course.

The first day of the workshop will take place at the Linnaea Farm Education Centre. The second day will be spent in doing hands-on training at Gunflint Lake.

October 4th ~ 9 - 4pm
October 5th ~ 9 - 2pm

COST: $25

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on both days of the training.
