The windstorm of Dec 11th wreaked havoc on Cortes Island and our hearts go out to people who had homes or other property damaged.

While humor might be the best strategy for dealing with this disaster, we are sickened by this waste of resources. Our new kayaking van was parked uninsured awaiting the start of the summer season so the financial loss is considerable. If any of you has ever thought about coming out on a trip with Misty Isles Adventures, the summer of 2007 would be the time to help us out!
