Come explore Cortes Island’s own nursery, surrounded by beautiful ornamental and food gardens. We are open every Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm from leaf burst in April through leaf fall in October.
In the Nursery:
We carry a full range of edible and ornamental plants including fruit trees, berries, roses, climbers, flowering and ornamental trees & shrubs, conifers, broadleaf evergreens, perennials, grasses, and a gardens worth of deer resistant plants.
If you are looking for a plant we are likely to have it. If you have a space to fill or a specific need, we will have a plant to fill it.
Fruit & Berries:
Our fruit trees, berries, and nuts include apples, plums, cherries, domestic and Asian pears, figs, peach, mulberries, blueberries, cranberries, loganberries, tayberries, boysenberries, goji berries, raspberries, serviceberries, honeyberries, aronia, sea buckthorn, junebearing and everbearing strawberries, black and red currants, green and red gooseberries, table and wine grapes, kiwis, hazelnuts and walnuts.

Ornamental Trees:
Ornamental trees include a variety of dogwoods, flowering cherries, plums and crabapples, magnolias, amelanchier (serviceberry), redbuds, hawthorns, Japanese maples, red & vine maples, flowering witch hazels, weeping copper beech, katsuras, birch, euonymus (spindletree), Japanese snow bell, oak, ginkgo, and a number of conifers.
Soil conditioners and mulches:
Build healthy soil with organic conditioners, amendments, and mulches. We carry fresh chicken manure, sea soil, mushroom manure, blended manure, composted chicken manure, ocean soil, organic compost, coco coir, peat moss, potting mixes, straw, organic fertilizer mixes, limes, fresh fish fertilizer, liquid seaweed extract, and deer repellent. Mulch and feed your garden to keep it happy. Nature always mulches!
