The Cortes Forestry General Partnership is providing free use permits to enable community members to buck and transport their own personal firewood from the community forest at no cost. The CFGP will be allowing permit holders vehicle access to the Coulter Bay Community Forest on September 26th and 27th. The gate will be opened at 8am. All firewood must be bucked from logs already down on the road right-of-way for block CAR7. Please see the map attached to the free use permit on the CFGP website for more details.

Any community members who wish to attend can fill out free use permit applications here. Please read through conditions of use and bring all the listed relevant safety equipment. All permit holders are required to carry a copy of their signed permit while bucking and transporting firewood.
