I just had a look at the newsletter emailed to me from Mansons Hall. There is a little notice that says the AGM is on June 28 at 5pm. It is in smallish print at the bottom left hand corner of the first page. So, technically according to the society act they have done their due diligence to give notice to the membership one week in advance, of the AGM. Did you other members get this notice?
However, in good faith with the community, and historically... isn't it appropriate to put a notice on the tidelines? I don't see it, did I miss it? Or how about Cortes Island is Home, or We Heart Cortes? or how about putting it up on the Marque?
