49 year old quiet tea drinking literature professor with recent local house sitting references.

I’m hoping to come up with a couple of colleagues for focussed quiet writing time anywhere in the window of July 24-Aug 5 or thereabouts. (It’s a narrower window than usual this year so it may end up being camping :D but figure it never hurts to put it out there and see what folks happen to need!)

I’ve been coming up to Cortes in the summers for going on 20 years. I can provide dependable, sensitive care for cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, goats, llamas and other animals, can weed and water gardens, etc.

If you have a trip planned anywhere in the window of July 24-Aug 5 and are wanting peace of mind that your home and creatures are in good hands I’d love to hear from you.

I can provide local references from other recent house sits on Cortes.

I’m comfortable with a variety of Cortes living setups and am ok with outhouses, cold water, etc. Though of course it’s nice to have more creature comforts, I can work with what’s available!

We’re also open to renting :)
