Hollyhock's Garden needs Gardeners! This is a physically demanding, but incredibly rewarding seasonal position in a stunningly beautiful workplace!

Position: Gardener
Reports to: Lands and Facilities Manager
Hours and Location: Seasonal on Cortes Island, starts in March/April, FT (32 - 40hrs), PT (<30hrs)
Starting Wage: $23 - 26 to start, depending on skill level, experience

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Hollyhock garden is a place of inspiration, joy, and connection for our staff and visitors. This garden provides fresh produce and edible flowers for the Hollyhock kitchen, as well as creative arrangements on display throughout our campus.

The Gardener position is physically demanding and works outdoors in a variety of weather systems including rain, wind, cold and extreme heat. Sometimes tasks are varied throughout the day, and other times they can be digging beds, weeding and planting for hours at a time.

You will be working as part of a dedicated team, who value communication, feedback. Self initiative, education, guest experience and a positive attitude towards all garden tasks big and small is essential.
