Hey!
You may have seen me creeping around the island he last month collected data. I have been checking addresses and gathering information for the Fire Department/EMS.
I am doing one last call out for information:

* Do you have a extra water source on your property for the Fire department to pull from if your home or land were to catch fire? This could be a large tank, pond, or other fire protection you may have personally set up.

* Animals? Do you have livestock, or indoor pets? Caged, not caged? Information such as this can be useful. If it's safe for responders they might be able to let your pet out of the house. For livestock, Emergency Social Services can get their animal team up and running faster if they know there are animal.

* Evacuation assistance? Is there someone at your address that will need help evacuating if there is a fire or large scale disaster on island?

One last note, I have noticed that, though many people have their addresses up, they are very difficult to see. Dark numbers printed on wood are almost invisible when the wood is wet and at night. Contrast in your sign is key for a fast response from emergency services. Addresses that are visible from both directions are also helpful.
