At the Death Cafe, we acknowledge death as a part of life, providing a warm environment for honest talk about any topic: life, death, hope, fear and the perplexities of being human. Everything spoken is held as sacred expression and honoured. We sit in a small circle, taking turns speaking, as well as listening with an open, receptive attitude. Afterwards, participants are welcome to stay for tea and informal chat. The next Death Cafe is Jan 3, in Whaletown, 2-3:30 and is free, by registration only.
