PFLA saw the CR Mirror editorial by Brian Kieran and we wrote a blog post to help clear up some of the confusion around government oversight of forest management practices on private forest lands. You might be surprised.

Also, to brighten things up a bit on this cold, dark winter evening, and since itís the season of goodwill and all, hereís some photos of two magnificent Roosevelt Elk bulls duking it out, with salmon swimming between their feet, and bears and eagles close by.

These creatures all seem quite happy to be living on managed private forest land.

ÖMaybe itís because they donít read the newspapers?

....Or maybe private managed forest land just isnít so bad after all?
