Dear Morgan,
Hmmm, so this is what you call negotiation! You seem to be telling me what you have decided, namely, that you want to compromise our environmental and social values. What don't you and I.T. "get" about 7,000 signatures? I think you can see I am not the only one who is not interested in having those values compromised.

When I pointed out to your Brian, (I think his name was), "at the Gorge Hall meeting of I.T. with the public", that discussing how to log the remaining one percent of old growth fir "sustainably" does not make sense, he agreed with me. Please remove your logging equipment from this island now, while you are almost ahead, and do not bring it back! You're welcome to take your gift from under the Basil Gate Christmas tree with you. And, if you thus depart, you're also welcome to take a matching set of framed collages, including "Think Like A Forest".

By the way, in case the words "Light Blessing" mean anything to you, I believe I am aware of six photos photographed Nov. 28, '12 of forest lovers at your Basil Creek gate, which include Light Blessings. I hope your remaining Christmas season is Merry, and you will allow all of us Whos in Cortes Whoville to have a Merry one as well.

In Peace,
Cindy Lou Nancy, Tiny Tim and Toto
