In 2006 on the shores of Baja California island I have a candid chat with Jilly Dean, a 'war artist'. Jilly travelled around war torn Europe painting watercolours for the British military.
She speaks passionately about the inner struggles to commit to paper the scenes before her. Considering the current geopolitical situation we find ourselves in, Jilly her thoughts are apropos.
