Cortes Literacy Outreach would like to thank our volunteer judges who read all the stories and made notes on their feedback for the writer's.

The First Place winners will each receive a $100 cheque, made possible by a generous donation from two anonymous supporters. Thank you for valuing the encouragement of young writer's in our community!

All participants will receive anonymous feedback from the judges, as well as a bound print copy of their story. By the end of October, a bound copy of each story will also be available for anyone in the community to read. Details to follow.

It's so great to hear that Cortes young people are expressing their creativity in writing. Congratulations to all the winners of prizes and to all the young writers who entered. You are winners for doing the work of writing and sending it out into the world for judging. None of you has lost in the process. Keep on writing, everyone!
