On Monday afternoon, about 1:30 pm, a small group of islanders gathered in the Old Growth grove, in the proposed Island Timberlands cut block near Squirrel Cove At the same time, three islanders were discussing the future of these very trees with Island Timberlands CEO in Nanaimo. May the confluence of energy be in favour of the trees in this rare stand. Here the trees have never been logged. The landscape remains much as it has always been, in it's own life and breath cycle.
