Emcon Services Inc. would like to thank all of the residence of Cortes Island for their patience during our recent resurfacing project . We wish to give special thanks to local stakeholders and community leaders, BC Ferries, and the local Emcon crewmembers for their hard work, co-operation, and assistance. We would also like to recognize our partners, the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, for their help and assistance in funding the project. We hope that the community wasn't inconvenienced to greatly during the phases of the project and that everyone (residents and visitors) will enjoy the 24km of new and improved roads on the island in the years to come.
