This morning we were wakened at 5:30 to the sound of, not whales, but the Coast Guard checking the red buoy at the entrance to Whaletown Bay, Q10 on your chart. Their real interest is in the flashing green mark on the other side of the bay. The Coast Guard are repairing/renovating the concrete base having to remove the structure on top. It will be interesting to see the end result.
