A tiny owl (robin-sized), uncommon, solitary, active in daylight, perching within trees to hunt for small birds.

Yesterday, in Kw'as Bay area, next to bird feeder. Apparently, it was chasing a bird and struck the window. Took off after posing for a few pictures.
