Mother's Apron
A one-woman monologue revealing the lives of Prairie women from 1886-1946 through the secrets apron pockets. Characters include a jilted mail-order bride, a boarding house owner, a Metis femme sage, a Women's Land Army farmer and a female P-39 pilot. Written and performed by Madonna Hamel, monologuist, former CBC field reporter and touring blues singer.
