Dear Community,

At our ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27, we were delighted to unveil the new Sandra Wood Room in the Rainbow Ridge Community Building. Named in honour of the Cortes Housing Society's founding director, this cozy new space is available for community groups to gather for potlucks, movie nights and more.

The Sandra Wood Room is a tribute to Sandra's vision and leadership in founding the Society and spearheading the fundraising that made the purchase of the Rainbow Ridge property possible.

The ceremony also marked another exciting milestone: the completion of our first duplex at Rainbow Ridge. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate and thank the many people who have contributed their time, energy, expertise and resources to help bring this vision to life.

Interested in using the Sandra Wood Room for your next small gathering? Please reach out to learn more or make a booking.

Warmly,
The CHS Team
