Dance Temple - Bring it in
Thursday Sept 10 with DJ Artemisia aka Catriona
7:00 - 8:30, $15-$25 at the door
It's been a busy summer season, lots of learning, lots of growth, and loss … and so we turn our attention to harvesting those learnings, bringing nto our bodies the magic of the past season through dance. So we remember, so we nourish ourselves, and so we dance again.
DJ Artemisia (she/her) is long time host of the Stone Soup radio show and is a life long dancer. She weaves an eclectic blend of music from around the globe and loves dancing together in community.
All ages, all genders, all bodies, and all parts of YOU are welcome.
Regular Temple Guidelines:
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
Dance Temple is an alcohol-free and scent-free space. Please also refrain from phones and outdoor shoes.
The facilitators of Dance Temple hold a strong intention to honour movement and dance as an essential and powerful expression of self and connection to others. We acknowledge the healing and creative nature of movement and recognize that fun, play and humour are vital to this practice.
Please contact connieaquaylegmail.com if you are interested in helping out with the event in exchange for free admission.
No one turned away for lack of funds.
