Thanks to the generosity of our community, we now have a Storage Shed in the Mansons Landing Cemetery. The shed houses the boards, ropes, shovels, chairs, maintenance equipment, and DeathCare Collective supplies, bringing more ease to the logistics of each burial.

The shed is a testimony to this community – all of the materials were donated, and the list of contributors is impressive. Romney Shipway envisioned an attractive way to finish the shed, and carpenters Phil Hey and Chris Henry volunteered their weekend to work alongside Romney, with others – especially Dancing Wolf - pitching in.

The Southern Cortes Community Association funded Bill Wheeler's work to get the shed to lock-up, and Dancing Wolf has contributed countless volunteer hours to this project—and to the continued maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.

The shed stands as a beautiful testament to the care, generosity, and collective spirit of our Cortes community.
