We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting a special event this Friday July 24th at 7pm in connection with the beautiful and thought-provoking exhibition, "The Shape of Solace." Please join Melanie Boyle, Karen McDiarmid and Jane Newman for a gathering that will explore the relationships we form with the meaningful objects in our lives. We will begin with a discussion about finding solace in times of uncertainty, and then we will use the time-honoured process of "Show and Tell" to deepen our thinking about the possessions we hold most dear.

For the "Solace Show and Tell," we invite participants to bring special objects to the gallery to share with the group. Many of us keep family heirlooms that remind us of departed loved ones, souvenirs of special events or experiences, toys from childhood, or tactile things that bring us comfort, among other possibilities. By telling our own stories, and sharing the objects that are meaningful to us, we will connect to the deeper themes of our humanity.

All welcome, including those who wish to attend as observers, but prefer not to speak.
Admission is by donation.
