We are working tirelessly to ensure the excellent service at the Cortes Health Centre continues; however, we were unable to secure a physician to serve in person for the week of July 27th to July 31st.

To help serve you, we will have two RNs on staff every day that week supported virtually by two of our regular physicians. These physicians will also be available virtually for urgent appointments as triaged by one of our nurses.

Same day urgent and same week urgent appointments are still available between now and August 21st. If this is a more urgent matter, please call at 9am to be triaged for a same day or same week appointment.

We are currently booking routine health appointments into August, 2026. Lab work will be booked as usual and reviewed by our physicians from afar to make sure everything is reviewed in a timely fashion.

For urgent in-person physician appointments, the Urgent Primary Care Clinic in Campbell River now accepts calls starting at 8am. They can be reached at 1 833 688 8722 and are located at 381 2nd Ave, Campbell River.

There are no longer any walk-in clinics in Campbell River; however, you can book virtual appointments with licensed physicians at:

If you have need a renewal for a prescription that you have had for six months or longer with no changes you can contact the Cove Pharmacy directly at 250-285-2275 and they may be able to renew for you until you are able to book an appointment.
