Love Fest returns to Linnaea Farm this summer with an incredible celebration of music, community, and connection—and this year's lineup promises to be one of the most memorable yet.
We are thrilled to welcome Daniel Lapp and his band North Star to the island for Love Fest 2026. Daniel is one of Canada's most revered fiddle players, a nationally acclaimed musician, and a multi-award-winning artist whose passion for music has inspired generations of musicians and audiences alike.
Known for his extraordinary ability to blend tradition with innovation, Daniel Lapp brings together the rich sounds of folk and Celtic roots with elements of rock, roots, and electronic music. His performances are energetic, uplifting, and deeply connected to the joy of bringing people together through song.
Joining Daniel in North Star are two exceptional musicians, Adam Dobres and Adrian Dolan, creating a powerhouse trio that celebrates both the history and future of roots music. Together, they create a unique sound that is both deeply rooted and refreshingly modern.
This special performance will be one of the highlights of Love Fest 2026, offering audiences a chance to experience world-class musicianship right here on Cortes Island.
Love Fest will feature an incredible day of music beginning at 1:00 PM at beautiful Linnaea Farm. Along with Daniel Lapp & North Star, this year's lineup includes Daniela Carmona and Pablo Cardenas' Afro-Cuban Explosion, Amy and Rick Bockner, Dylan Stone and his band, Evemarie Brunelle, Santosha, the Folk U Songwriters in the Round featuring Denice, Owyn and Basil, Rex's Poetry Review, and a closing electronic dance set from Modern Biology featuring Tarun.
The festival will also include local vendors, delicious food options, ice cream, and the opportunity to purchase this year's limited-edition Love Fest T-shirt featuring a beautiful design from the collection of Lisa Gibbons.
