Cortes DeathCare Collective

The DeathCare Collective supports our community in preparing for the end-of-life through conversation and education. We help loved ones care for their own dying and deceased – offering guidance, encouragement, and assistance from diagnosis through death and after death – making home-based, holistic care more accessible.

Our monthly meetings have ended for the season and will resume in September. You are welcome to join our Death Cafe hosted in Whaletown on the first Saturday of each month; contact Darsi at darsikamaygmail.com for more information.

If you have any death-related questions or needs, don’t hesitate to contact us, even on short notice: Margaret 250-204-3709 or Emma 250-208-4468.

Visit our website https://islanddeathcare.ca/.

Walking Group

• The walking group meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 a.m. in the Manson's Hall parking lot for a 30-minute to 1-hour walk, followed by coffee. Never cancelled! Come and join the walking group. Your dog, on a leash, is welcome to tag along.
