The next Writing Afternoon of the 2026 season at the Old Schoolhouse Art Gallery is THIS SUNDAY, June 28, from noon -2pm. Come join me at the Gallery for 2 hours before it opens, to play with language and word art! Open to all curious, playful, and creative people! This year, each 2nd Sunday afternoon of every exhibit, we’ll gather to experiment and play with the visual aspects of writing and language. It’s a play-shop, not a work-shop! Come ready to have fun with something to write with and something to write on! The art in the show will be our guide, inspiration, and collaborator! For Meinsje Vlaming’s show, The Uncanny and the Sublime, we’ll play with Coloured Writing, where all the words you write will be in colour.
