The World Cup is back, and so is Cortes's ever-popular World Cup 50/50 fundraiser.
There have been weekly soccer games on Cortes for 45 years and counting - with lots of kids soccer mixed in. (Check out some of these earlier photos :-)
Every four years we raise funds for Cortes community soccer equipment and programs. Here's the details on this latest version:
FUNDRAISER - A World Cup pool where you pick which teams you think will progress through to the various rounds. Half the money goes to the winner.
ENTRIES - Attached to this article is a PDF of the pool. $20 per entry. The rules are on the page. As many entries as you want.
DEADLINE TO ENTER - Your entry plus the money has to get to either Dave Robertson (email address listed on the pool) - or delivered to Barry Saxifrage or Forrest Berman-Hatch - before the kickoff of the first game on June 12th. Contact any of us if you need a printed copy.
