Cortes Island Streamkeepers
There was strong community attendance at the information meeting on Thursday night, just shy of 100 residents. Excellent informative presentations & a very professional, respectful tone overall. This will hopefully motivate Island United to host their own public meeting, as last night they did not attend.

The first deadline for public comment to the government is May 14 (Ministry of Crown Lands). The deadline for Ministry of Mining was extended to May 22.

See the following info with more detail in the attachment, with the 1 date change (May 8 to May 22).
