Children’s Forest Nature Walk – Sunday, May 3
Heralds of spring in the forest – yellow skunk cabbage, pink salmonberry blossoms, lime green conifer tips, warblers singing, sweetness of new leaves opening.
Our monthly nature walk through the Children’s Forest is Sunday, May 3 and all are welcome to join our spring merriment. Bring a friend, bring two.
There may even be a suprise visit from a forest imp?!
We will leave from the Children’s Forest trailhead on Carrington Bay Road at 10:00 am, and return around 2:00 pm. Families and walkers who wish to turn back sooner are welcome to do so. Bring a hearty lunch & snack, and dress for the weather. Out of respect for wild creatures & wild places, please leave dogs at home.
