A spring COVID-19 vaccine clinic is coming to Cortes Island. An additional dose of the COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for those at risk of severe illness, including:

• Anyone 80 years and older
• Indigenous people aged 70 and older
• People 6 months and older diagnosed with significant immunocompromising conditions

Invitations to book appointments are now being sent by email or text to adults 65 and older registered in the Get Vaccinated system. Visit getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca or call 1-833-838-2323 to book. The Island Health clinic will be held in May.
