We're excited to be launching our second year of local direct democracy with this year's MicroGrants for Neighbours cycle. Anyone from the Cortes community (Cortes residents, folks who grew up on the island, members of Klahoose, and people currently living elsewhere but who volunteer for an island-based non-profit) are invited to make their suggestions on which applications should get funded.

There are a whopping 37 applications this year! Please set aside a little chunk of time and rate them all :)

We have a total of $10,500 to disburse to these community projects.

This is locally-made voting system. Please let us know if you have any challenges and we will do our best to address them.

Although names have been removed, if you know whose application it is, you are welcome to vote on your friends’ projects (and even your own!), but please remain kind, fair, and considerate, and aim to rate the whole batch of 37 project applications.
