Walking Group
• The walking group meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9 a.m. in the Manson's Hall parking lot for a 30-minute to 1-hour walk, followed by coffee. Never cancelled! Come and join the walking group. Your dog, on a leash, is welcome to tag along.

Creative Spaces Garden & Studio Tour – Saturday, June 20, 2026

Better at Home Spring Offer

Swimming & Yoga in Campbell River

The Better at Home program will provide free ferry tickets to seniors who are interested in gathering a small group (3–4) to carpool to Campbell River to use the community pool, aquatic fitness programs, swim laps, or join chair yoga. Call your friends & neighbours and go to town together. Combine it with other errands and make a day of it.

For the months of April to June, we are offering seniors a free vehicle ferry trip to town from Monday through Thursdays, to take advantage of the community pool for a swim, chair yoga classes or aqua fitness classes. The Gorge Harbour Marina is generously reopening its pool for seniors’ aqua fitness in the summer months, but until then, we encourage you to take advantage of this offering! The Rainbow Ridge Laundry Club

The Laundry Club is a pilot project of the Cortes Housing Society, in collaboration with the Cortes Women’s Centre and the Cortes Community Health Association.

The aim is to provide laundry and shower facilities for residents of Mansons Landing and Squirrel Cove. Members are expected to keep the space clean and tidy, handle the machines gently, and maintain a peaceful presence in the building and on the grounds. Tuesdays are reserved for women-only days. Children are welcome. No pets are allowed on the premises, and smoking is not allowed.

Members agree to pay e-transfer fees monthly to accountingcortescommunityhousing.org, with the note “laundry”.

To obtain a form, please email biancacortescommunityhousing.org.

If you are a Better at Home client, this will be part of our program offerings for 2026–2028. Sliding scale depending on your income. Please email betterathomecortesgmail.com or call Ester to sign up.
