Children's Forest Trust
Children’s Forest Monthly Walk – Sunday, March 1
Curiosity abounds for all in the Children’s Forest, both the 4-legged and 2-legged. March 1 is upon us which put us well past the beginning of spring by the Gaelic calendar, and sun is forecast for Sunday.
We will leave from the Children’s Forest trailhead on Carrington Bay Road at 10:00 am and return around 2:00 pm. Families and walkers who wish to turn back sooner are welcome to do so. We will be navigating major puddles, so PLEASE wear rubber boots, and bring hearty snacks & lunch. We’ll aim for a beach bonfire if we can get down to Carrington Bay.
We welcome new families & hikers, but please leave dogs behind out of respect for wild creatures.
