GreenShield Care Essential Medicines Program is coming to BC.

The GreenShield Cares Essential Medicines program is a drug plan that provides financial assistance of up to $1,000 for eligible prescription drug costs for BC residents.

Coverage is limited to a maximum of $1,000 for 12 months from the date of enrolment and includes the cost of eligible medication and dispensing fees, plus contributes to individuals' BC Fair PharmaCare deductibles and annual family maximums.

Medication is dispensed exclusively by Green
Shield Pharmacy and shipped to participants at no cost.

Eligibility criteria is
~ Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in the province of BC
~ Employed
~ Aged 19+
~ Have a combined household net income below the program threshold
~ Not enrolled in a private drug plan, regardless of the level of coverage available
~ Must be enrolled in BC Medical Service Plan (MSP)
~ Must be enrolled in Fair PharmaCare
